For the iphone platform this is a good job. Don't expect Championship Manager here but this is not too bad a game. It reminds me of Championship manager around 2004. The complexity is only around that level. You cannot see the players actually play but it is good in that you will be able to get through a season much quicker.

As manager, you have control over the squad acquisition, the tactics the training and who you sell. You receive a number of emails every day. Some are from the chief scout who tells you of some good players available in the market others are about the form of certain players. You can choose the intensity of the training, whether you would concentrate more on fitness/ attacking/ defensive work. This is also broken down to set piece training etc. You have money to spent but in order to have enough it is advisable to be as canny in the market as possible. Try not to overspend for average players and make sure not to ask too much for your players that you want to let loose.

Each game is only about 20 seconds long and unfortunately you don't get to see anything about the game. All you can do is see how the players rated after. The players on poor form should be left out next time. So I think you get the message. Its just like your typical manager game. Its tricky enough, you need to take these factors into account. If you don't you will struggle. If you do and you win the league, an offer from a European Superclub might just be on the way.

One big drawback on this is the fact that the players names are all fake. If this is something that does not bother you, you will love it.

If you like football, I think you should get it. I enjoy it.
